I have been using this for a few weeks and found it much easier to use than a conventional bait needle. You can either place bait on needle put the hook in the loop and wrap with elastic or bait hook as normal then put onto needle and whip, this method works well for smaller baits and for tying in fish strips once the worm bait is on the hook.

How easy it is to use, gives such better bait presentation. It also gave the confidence to open the packet of elastic I purchased a year ago and never used! (what was I waiting for)

Norm included one of these in a previous order (cheers Norm!) and I have to say what a good idea this is, it’s the ideal 3rd hand!!.
I’m going to try this out along with mussel and some arma mesh then freeze the hook length down.
Along with a quick change system this could be ideal for keeping a big juicy (and if you can collect your own) cheap way of using one of the best baits going in the NE.
Lets see what happens.

Love this tool. A mate of mine bought one a while ago and I know he is now getting tired of me borrowing it! It just makes it so much easier to present bait properly and it gives you confidence to use bait elastic.

Another simple little tool from Breakaway, as already said it makes using elastic a doddle. The video showing how to use it is very helpful.
My all time favourite tool/accessory is the brilliant Crimp Tool, the Bait Loader comes a very close second.
All I need now is some motorized, track laying boots to get me up and down the beach, given time I’m sure the boys at Breakaway could come up with something.
