Common purchase queries answered

Orders and Shipping

Most orders are packed and sent out the same day if placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday.
For UK orders, delivery usually takes 1–3 working days.
International orders can take a bit longer depending on your location.

To create a customer account on the Breakaway Tackle website, click on “My Account” at the top right of the page and select “Register”.
You’ll need to enter your name, email address, and create a secure password.
Once registered, you can view your order history, track deliveries, and enjoy a faster checkout process every time you shop with us.

Just log in to your account, click on “Address Book”, then choose “Edit” next to your shipping address.
You can update it there and save the changes.
If you’ve already placed an order, give us a ring ASAP and we’ll do our best to update it before dispatch.

Once your order’s been dispatched, we’ll send you an email with a tracking link (if tracking is available).
You can also log into your account, go to “Order History”, and click on your order to see the latest updates.

No — we don’t store any credit or debit card details on our website.
All payments are securely handled by trusted third-party providers like Lloyds Bank or PayPal.
That means your payment information is safe, and we never see or save your full card number.

Yes — if your order is being delivered to a UK address, we charge VAT at the standard UK rate.
If your order is being shipped outside of the UK, no VAT will be charged — it’s automatically removed at checkout based on your shipping address.

We offer worldwide shipping to 99% of countries.
Just add your items to the basket and select your country at checkout — if it’s listed, we ship there!
If your country isn’t available, feel free to contact us and we’ll let you know if delivery is possible.

If you need to swap an item

Returns and Exchanges

If you’re not happy with your purchase, no problem — you’ve got 30 days to return it for a refund or exchange.
Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
Just send it back with your order details and let us know what you’d like us to do.
We recommend using a tracked service, just to be safe.
If something arrived damaged or faulty, contact us straight away and we’ll sort it out for you.

First, double-check your order confirmation to make sure the product you received is different from what you ordered — we know it’s easy to mix things up, especially after a long day on the beach! 😄
If we’ve made a mistake, contact us and we’ll get the correct item sent out straight away.
If you ordered the wrong product by accident, no problem — just return it unused, and we’ll arrange a refund or swap.
Either way, we’ll help you get what you need.

If your parcel has arrived damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll review the issue and do our best to sort it out quickly — whether that means a replacement, refund, or return.
All damage claims are reviewed individually, so the more info you can provide, the faster we can help.
