Shock Leader
Shock Leader fishing line is important to be able to take the shock and weighting of the load during the cast. A heavy line is used down to the fishing weight with enough line to go 3-5 times around the spool.
Top Tip – to reduce snagging on the rod tip and streamlining the line, always use a leader fishing knot to tie the main line to the shock leader.
