The Breakaway Ultra Lead is a modern, high-performance evolution of the original Breakaway design — engineered for superior casting, smarter bait protection, and a more sustainable approach to sea fishing tackle.

• Virtually indestructible polymer nose cone for aerodynamic protection and long-lasting performance
• Rotating stainless steel grip wires for reliable seabed anchorage in a range of tidal pressures
• Heavy-duty central stem with integrated metal tail loop
• Push-on cast lead body for easy assembly or home moulding

The Ultra’s aggressive shape improves bait shielding in-flight, while the short tail loop ensures perfect alignment with Impact Shields or Imps. Designed for clean release, the grip wires respond predictably even under high tension, allowing fast hook-ups and easy retrieval.
